“Precious” Amelia…Atlanta baby photographer.

I’m sure that I’m the only person working on Easter, and that noone is going to be reading our blog today..but just in case you stop by today: Happy Easter!  I had a quiet moment while the kids are out at the store with my parents, so rather than clean up, or I don’t know…take a shower…I decided to blog. I’ve been dying to get sweet Amelia’s photos up for the past week, anyway.

Let me just start off by saying that I had the BEST time hanging out with Amelia’s mom and her friend Geri (if i spelled that wrong, please forgive).  We spent the whole session chattin’ it up, and overusing the word precious.  If you know me at all…precious doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue for me, but I got in some good practice. By the end of the session, we all had a precious time with precious Amelia, and got some really precious photos!

Thanks again you guys…I hope you love them!

Amelia made the funniest little faces..she was really checkin’ out the camera..I thought it was worthy of a little ‘photo-booth’ reel:

Smiling Babies…atlanta newborn photography

Keeping this one short and sweet because Noah is yelling at the backdoor for me to push him on the swing!! :)  My newborn sessions always come in waves, and this year is no exception. These 2 little munchkins were big time smilers…so sweet when you can catch one of those little treasures (even if it’s just gas :))

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Brooke~

The Easter bunny and Christy…we do exist!

So often I get asked about my partnership with Brooke. Because she is the worlds best blogger, I typically take a backseat and let her do what she does so well! But, that confuses many of you and I get asked all of the time about our partnership. I am the other half of Paperlily (although Brooke is the responsible 64% of it), and yes I do exist! LOL! I promise to be more present here on the blog if you guys promise not to compare my blog posts with Brooke’s. Because well, you’ll see! ;)

The Skeen’s have been friends of mine for years. Jennifer and Beau have been together since Jennifer was fourteen and they are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Oh, and did I mention they are adorable? That said, it has taken me a good solid five years of pleading to get Jennifer to finally book this family session with me. She loves to have the kids photographs taken, but she stresses (all of the way around town shopping) when its time for her to have her photos taken. I think it was worth the wait, however.  Jenn, you guys are all hysterical and I love you all!

We will start with the real behind the scenes of it all and move on from there!

Happy as the sun…Amy & Paul. Cator Woolford Gardens, Atlanta wedding photography.

Do you ever hear a song on the radio with the windows down, and imagine it as the soundtrack to your life as you’re driving?  Please tell me I’m not the only one??  I just love that moment (it’s usually on the rare occasion that I’m in the car WITHOUT my kids) it reminds me of being a teenager, so carefree…I’ve been listening to Happy as the Sun on repeat as I edit Amy & Paul’s wedding photos & it brings me right back to their AMAZING day; the warm breeze, laughter of friends and family, Amy’s contagious smile as she walked towards Paul, pure perfection from start to finish …*sigh*

Amy & Paul, we hope these photos bring you right back to your day as well…xoxo, Brooke & Christy.

Amy wasn’t expecting her grandparents at the wedding….I just LOVE that we were able to capture her reaction when they arrived…one of the sweetest moments of the day.

Amy & Paul didn’t want to “see” each other before the ceremony, so we arranged a little “no peeking” meeting…

Paul is a graphic designer, and designed all of the programs, invites & favors…LOVE how they turned out!

The centerpieces were all Amy..she had her dad cut the wood slices, and her and her mom collected tons of different vases to arrange the flowers in. Each table was decorated with different birds, candles and photos…how gorgeous are they??
