Christy and I just love engagement sessions…it’s where we really get to know a couple in a relaxed setting, see how they connect, how they photograph and how they compliment each other. Jessica & David have such a playful & fun relationship, and we love how that showed up on camera. We had a great time with you guys..hope you love your photos!!

Oh, and David, don’t forget the little people when your modeling career takes off, wink, wink. ;)

I could shoot every session in a field. love.it. It’s just so romantic and whimsical, and when the sun sets in the distance, it doesn’t get any more beautiful….on the other hand, animal carcuses in a field: absolutely NOT whimsical OR romantic. Just saying. Thankfully I was the only one put off by our company, and we were able to have an awesome shoot. Amy & Paul are SUCH a laid back and fun couple. They were so easy going and ridiculously in love & sweet together; a total dream for Christy & I to photograph. We had such a great time with you two. We hope you guys love your photos as much as we do!!! Can’t wait ’til April 3rd!!

Hello???? Is anybody still out there??? I’m sooo sorry that I have neglected the blog this long. We’ve been so busy shooting, that any moment we weren’t, we were trying to catch up with our families. Something had to give, and unfortunately…it was the blog. Please forgive me. :)

So much to catch up on. In the next few weeks I’ll be sharing 5 weddings, 3 engagements and a few kiddos too…AND, a brand new wedding website with a whole new look; new colors, new logo, new portfolio…I also am dying to share from a wedding I got to shoot with the amazing Michelle Huesgen, of Untamed Heart Photography in St. Louis! It was such a killer wedding that it got published in Style Me Pretty! Click on the links to check it out!!

Onto the blog post! This is an engagement session I did in NYC and Southhampton with my childhood best friend, Tanya and her fiance’, Lee. Since they are from NY, we didn’t do a typical ‘tourist’ NYC backdrop; all of the locations are very specific to their relationship and neighborhood, which makes it even more special. We had the best time! I was so glad I was able to go out there for the shoot!

p.s. I’m in the wedding, so Christy will be making her NY wedding photography debut this May…we can’t wait!
