This past Tuesday, I tackled my very first twin newborn session and it was a huge success!! My good friend Jenn came with me and I can’t thank her enough…it was so much fun to shoot together too!! These two were such little angels, so tiny and perfect…and to capture their bond together was so sweet. They were adorable on their own, but together, ahhhhh…just priceless, I could eat them up.
There are soooo many favorites so far, and I just started editing….but I had to narrow it down for the blog. Hope you love them!!!

I love this shot of Cate below, so adorable!

And Morris is so adorable under his blanket….

There has been a baby boom at Paperlily Photography!! I have 6 newborns in the next 30 days, so beware if you’re having baby fever!! Newborns are without a question my favorite subjects to photograph, and I have a feeling that they will become the bulk of my business this year…very exciting! I met this little munchkin on Monday, and promised his sweet mommy that I wouldn’t make her wait 2 whole weeks to get a sneak peak….I think I’m finally getting back to my normal workflow again, after the crazy holiday season…no complaints from me though, I am so thankful for all of the incredible clients I’ve been blessed with..
Also, the big news: Christy has been working non stop, giving our weddings and senior site a face lift, full of gorgeous new images, and a few fun suprises and collaborations!! We will announce it here when it goes live, hopefully within the next couple of weeks!! You are going to be blown away!! (no pressure, Christy, lol!!)
Onto the sweetness….

Here is another sweet newborn that I had the joy of photographing before the holidays…Mr. Hollis. I photographed his big sister almost 2 years ago when she was a newborn, as well. I just love when I get to watch my clients grow…
Back to Hollis, though! So, he didn’t love being in his birthday suit so much, but he sure did make a cute little bundle all wrapped up! And the smiles on this baby were unreal! I’ll occasionally get a fluke smile from a newborn, but Hollis was just grinning the entire session. I could just eat him up!! I also managed to get an adorable shot of the both of them that just melts my heart. It was such a sweet little moment and I just love it! (and I couldn’t leave out little Bella, their dog..who was such a good girl the whole shoot. When I photographed Layla, 2 years ago, Bella was just a puppy and she barked at me the entire time..this session, she was much calmer, and actually couldn’t care less about me…)

I took a much needed week off from work to spend the holidays with my family…but I am officially back, and have tons to share! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!!
I photographed this sweet little lady about a week and a half ago, and I know mom and dad (and Aunt Hannah) are probably dying for a sneak peak….! She was SUCH a good little model…we got to do all sorts of fun stuff with her! Here are a few of my faves…more to come soon!!
This first image is my absolute favorite!
