There is certainly a baby boom happening here lately…almost all of my clients have been newborns lately and I couldn’t be happier. It’s no secret that newborns are my favorite!! I just love everything about them, they are pure innocence and perfection, so tiny and new…and I love the challenge of a newborn session…waiting for just the right shot, and then when it finally happens, it is just pure perfection.
I first met this beautiful family last summer when I photographed Harper’s big sister, Olivia, and now I had the pleasure of capturing their beautiful new addition. Thanks so much for having me you guys!! I had such a great time, and I hope you love your images…

I got to meet this little munchkin last Saturday the day after our huge “blizzard” here in Georgia…I braved the icy roads since Gavin was already 12 days old, and I knew it would be worth it! He was like a little angel… I had to wear him down a bit, but as soon as he fell asleep, it was smooth sailin’…There were so many favorites, I literally just had to close my eyes and pick 5 to blog, or else I wouldn’t be able to choose….hope you guys love them!!

2 blog posts in one day…what can I say, I’m on a roll. So, I photographed my good friend Jenn and her family last minute before Christmas since she had yet to have a family pictures taken and her daughter was already 2 1/2. She’s a photographer as well, and you’d think we’d have lots of pics of ourselves, but it is a rare thing when WE the photographers get in front of the camera. I never blogged them because it was such a busy time with the holidays..but I had some time today and wanted to share a few of my favorites!! We found a couple of really cool locations, and shot the first silhouette shot in their front doorway (which is now a big canvas, hanging right by their front door and it is gorgeous!!)
So, hence the blog title, here they are, better late than never…..hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful Georgia weather today!! We miss you guys!

So much has been happening lately, I can barely keep up with it all! It’s such a blessing to be busy, I have to keep reminding myself that…We’ve been working like crazy on our new wedding site…check back in the next few days for an amazing “rekindle” session we just shot. (Something new we’re going to offer this year to couples that never got engagement photos, or if you just want to have a fun session with your spouse to update your walls or photo albums.) I’ll go into more details when i post the session images
….now onto Miss Leighton! It’s hard to believe that she’s already one, it feels like I just finished up her newborn session. It’s such a nice treat to watch my clients grow…and what a little firecracker she turned out to be. She was a little dancing machine…as soon as her mom started singing, she would wiggle all over the place, even in the 20 degree weather we had to shoot in! I hope you guys enjoy!! I love them all, but this first set is my fave…look how gorgeous her eyes are…
